What is Betadine Antiseptic Solution?

It is used as a treatment or may be used to clean cuts, scratches, burns, grazes or other injuries where the skin is broken, or as a preventative measure before piercing the skin (e.g. getting an ear piercing, having injections or undergoing surgery).

How to use:

• Clean the affected area with the solution
• You can reapply as often as required 
• The dark/reddish brown colour of povidone-iodine is a natural non-staining indicator that fades
• When the solution has been absorbed, reapplication can be made

Ingredients: Each capsule contains:

10% povidone-iodine

Precautions, Contra-indications and Side Effects:

Should NOT be used by persons allergic to Iodine.
